Check-in/Check-out:

Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Check out time is 10:00 a.m.We will make every effort to adjust these times to suit your flight/ferry arrival/departure times. *Subject to approval by your Property Manager as detailed below.

Arrival Documents:

All guests entering the British Virgin Islands must be in possession of a valid passport as well as a valid return ticket.

Airlines:  

If you are arriving by a commercial flight into San Juan (SJU), your direct flight options into Beef Island (EIS) would be Cape Air, Air Sunshine, Seaborne, Inter Caribbean, Liat or private air charter with either Island Birds or Fly BVI. Flight options from St.Thomas (STT) to Beef Island (EIS) would be Air Sunshine or private air charter with either Island Birds or Fly BVI. 

Ferry:  

There are ferry services from St Thomas to Tortola, in fact there are two ferry terminals:  Road Town & West End. Ferries depart St. Thomas from Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook.  Be mindful when booking flights into St. Thomas that the last ferry departs around 4:30pm to Tortola.

Driving: 

Driving is on the left side of the road. The minimum age to rent a car is 25. Persons staying in the territory under 30 days are not required to purchase a temporary driver’s license.

Electricity:  

Tortola operates on the same as the U.S (110 volts/50 cycles). No adapters are necessary for visitors from North America, though Europeans visitors will require them. 

Internet:  

Wireless internet is available at Canefield House.
